8/29 SAT Open Studio Knitting Class 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Knitting Open Studio is a skill-building and problem-solving workshop designed for knitters of all experience levels beyond absolute and total beginner. With a maximum of four students per session, everyone is guaranteed a minimum of 30 minutes of focused instruction time to work on their project of choice (and should there be fewer than four students, everyone will get more time!).

Some examples of what one might bring to Open Studio:

“I’m working on my first sweater and would like some assistance understanding German short rows.”

“I’m interested in learning how to knit stranded colorwork and would like help learning how to read charts.”

“I was working on a cable knit scarf years ago before I put it down. Now I want to finish it, but can’t remember where I was in the chart. Can we figure out where I was?”

“I am brand new to knitting, and can cast on and knit, but not purl!”

“I made a weird mistake in this pattern and want help fixing it.”

The possibilities are endless!

Once you reserve your spot, please either leave a note in the Notes box at checkout or email [email protected] with a note about what you intend to bring to class, so our instructor can prepare any supplementary materials in advance of your attendance :)

Note: Our classes are intended for students aged 18 and up.
